The Weeknd於日前驚喜公佈第五張大碟《Dawn FM》面世。《Dawn FM》延續了《After Hours》的80年代復古音韻，請來格林美得主及BRITS的最佳男歌手Tyler, the Creator、當今最具影響力的hip hop製作人 / 歌手Lil Wayne、職業生涯橫跨五個年代的傳奇爵士歌手Quincy Jones、康城影展得主Oneohtrix Point Never等人參與製作和合唱，更驚喜邀請到荷里活笑匠演員Jim Carrey聲演電台DJ，在不同歌曲中穿插廣播。《Dawn FM》的封面照貫徹如一，是The Weeknd的大頭照，今次則換上兩鬢斑白，容貌衰老了的The Weeknd。
大碟最新主打歌“Sacrifice”是首中快版，滿載80年代電子節奏的舞曲，歌曲由The Weeknd、Max Martin和Swedish House Mafia等人創作。歌詞中充滿悔意歉疚，盡管情人花光心思，他亦曾努力嘗試，但仍發現最愛的都是自己，未能為這段感情犧牲。
