Madonna Joined by Salma Hayek for ‘Vogue’

Celebration Tour Wraps in Mexico

Guess who joined Madonna on stage to judge her tour dancers’ vogueing? None other than the iconic Salma Hayek! Dressed in a Frida Kahlo-inspired outfit, Hayek brought some extra flair to Madonna’s performance of “Vogue” at the Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City. And according to her Instagram post, this unforgettable night is going straight into her bag of precious treasures. The Celebration tour features Hit Songs fro Madonna’s career as the Queen of Pop Music

In case you forgot, Hayek is no stranger to playing Kahlo. She portrayed the iconic painter in the 2002 biopic Frida and even received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. We can only imagine what Kahlo herself would have thought of Hayek’s vogueing skills!

Madonna’s Celebration Tour is sadly almost over, but the good news is that it’s going out with a bang. The pop legend is scheduled to perform a free concert on May 4 at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which Visit Rio officials predict will bring in two million fans. We hope there’s plenty of voguing on the beach!

Mexico City recently played host to Madonna for a series of five concerts at the Palacio De Los Deportes. Last weekend, on Saturday, April 20, the singer spoke of her love for Mexican culture and Frida Kahlo, even visiting the painter’s family in the city neighbourhood of El Pedregal.
