The lyrics beautifully encapsulate the sense of urgency and excitement portrayed in the music video. He continued the theme in the catchy chorus: “I can’t wait to see your face/ Swerve and crash in a race/ My love’s stronger than the pain/ But if I forget the brake/ We’re dancing in the flames.”
“Dancing In The Flames” was created by the talented duo Max Martin and Oscar Holter, who have collaborated with The Weeknd multiple times. On a lighter note, one fan jokingly pointed out how the artist often meets unfortunate ends in his music videos: “Why does The Weeknd always end up in fatal situations in his [music videos]?” Just like in “Dancing In The Flames,” he faced tragic fates in videos such as “Starboy,” “Until I Bleed Out,” and “False Alarm.”
Hurry Up Tomorrow doesn’t have a release date yet. The enigmatic artist continues to intrigue his audience with his dark and captivating visuals, adding depth to his music. However, it’s anticipated to drop by the end of 2024 and will serve as The Weeknd’s final album under this alias. “This album is the pinnacle of my creative journey, concluding the trilogy with deep, introspective themes as hinted in the mystical teasers that have fans eager for this final chapter,” he shared earlier this month. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the album’s release date.
