Bouncing Back
Dua Lipa just dropped her latest bop, ‘Training Season’.
It’s the perfect reminder that even after a string of bad dates, we can always bounce back and find love. And if you’re impatient like us, you don’t have to wait long to hear it- a 30-second sneak peek of the single is available on all short-form platforms. Pre-saving is open now, ladies!
On the inspiration behind the track, Dua Lipa spills the tea: “After the last terrible date I went on, I was over it. I marched into the studio the next morning and declared ‘TRAINING SEASON IS OVER!’ My friends Caroline and Tobias immediately knew what was up- we had a good laugh and then got down to business.”
She continues, “While the song is definitely about men not getting it right, it’s also about me being done with constantly training myself for love. I’ve become more confident, clear-headed, and empowered- a true queen. And guess what? You can be one too, with or without a partner.”
So what are you waiting for? Hit that play button and get ready to dance the night away- just like Dua Lipa will be doing at this year’s BRIT Awards, where she’s nominated for Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act, and Song of the Year for ‘Dance The Night’.
