Stadium Return
Foo Fighters Take Cover is officially heading to Europe, with a 2026 stadium blitz anchored by two Liverpool Anfield nights.
The band teased the move with “FF” on the Kop, and now Dave Grohl and company confirm a full continental run. It marks their first major European swing since the Everything or Nothing at All Tour wrapped in 2024.
Tour Blueprint
The itinerary opens June 10 in Oslo and roars through Stockholm, Warsaw, Munich, and Paris before landing in Liverpool on June 25 and 27. July brings Berlin, Vienna, Milan’s I-Days, and festival strikes at Mad Cool and NOS Alive. Tickets go on general sale Friday, November 14, at 10am local time, limited to six per customer, via official vendors and the band’s site.

Take Cover Momentum
Framed as a fresh chapter, Foo Fighters Take Cover extends the band’s renewed velocity after 2023’s But Here We Are. The album closed a painful era following the death of Taylor Hawkins, and their live machine kept surging with Josh Freese before a lineup change this year. Ilan Rubin now powers the drums, bringing precision honed with Nine Inch Nails.
Support Cast Matters
The undercard speaks to the Foos’ curatorial pull. Select dates feature Royel Otis, Inhaler, IDLES, Otoboke Beaver, Fat Dog, and Die Spitz. It is a cross-genre snapshot of modern guitar music, from Australian dream-pop shimmer to Japanese punk velocity and UK post-punk heft. Expect these pairings to broaden crowds, energize pits, and seed discovery for the next wave.
New Music Signals
Alongside the European reveal, the band unveiled a 2026 North American stadium run and a new single, Asking For A Friend. They previously dropped Today’s Song for their 30th anniversary, hinting that more material is ready to “take flight.” The studio breadcrumbs suggest setlists that blend classics with a harder, bruised optimism from their recent work.
Why It Matters
Foo Fighters remain a linchpin for rock’s stadium scale, proving guitar music’s mass appeal endures with the right narrative and execution. Liverpool’s Anfield underscores their UK strength, while the routing balances prestige arenas with high-profile festivals. For fans, Foo Fighters Take Cover promises cathartic sing-alongs and a sharpened, resilient band writing its next act in real time.
