Kpop mega girl group Twice English Debut “The Feels”
Kpop has been taking the world over by storm since over a decade ago, with the western market slowly normalising “K” pop stars to just plain world wide pop stars.
JYP’s girl group Twice is certainly not an unknown name to anyone who takes interest in Kpop, they have been the nation’s beloved girl group of choice ever since their debut, with 1/3 of their members being Japanese, it was only natural that their fame and success also reached Japan.
Their first ever English single was released earlier this month, In 2020, the girl group had released English versions of their singles ‘More & More’ and ‘I Can’t Stop Me’, “The Feels” was their first ever original English song.
Sticking their signature retro, disco-like sound they’ve been adopting over the last few comebacks, “The Feels” certainly did not disappoint ONCE (name of the group’s fans”, with a grooving baseline, catchy lyrics speak of getting “The Feels” while falling for someone, seems like the group is all up to date with western English slang!
The MV is also fun and colourful, showing off the glamorous visuals of the girls to the backdrop with an American high school theme. Twice looked stunning as ever in pastel prom dresses, lots of plaid and a bit of throwback to their “Cheer Up” days with the cute cheerleading uniforms. Want more?
